Flight GSE Ltd

Flight GSE Ltd is a New Zealand owned company that designs and manufactures a range of Ground Servicing Equipment.

The Baggage Trolley was the first item designed, with the aim to come up with a New Zealand designed and manufactured trolley that was as good, if not better, than any available elsewhere in the world.
Features include:
  • Fully Hot Dip Galvanised Chassis
  • Powder coat over electro-galvanised end gates and tow bar ( White and Safety Yellow )
  • Integral brakes with heavy duty brake bar
  • Five bolt steering hub with top and bottom bearings
  • Floating front axle to assist steering and reduce wear and tear
  • "Mini-Ringfeeder" rear tow eye
  • Non-Aggressive and Non-Skid aluminium Deck plank from our own private extrusion
  • Bevel deck with coupled with the front being 25mm higher than the back of the trolley assists water drainage

We have also designed and priced a range of custom built aircraft maintenance stands and passenger access stairways and are keen to discuss any aspects of these type of items with prospective buyers, both locally and from offshore.

Couple of specialist access stands we've designed and built to access the cargo areas of A320's. Our client is delighted with the functionality and build quality of the finished stands. They are certified for a 250kgs load on the main stages. The units also come with an extension step that links into the top, for use when the aircraft is in a jacked configuration. The design and manufacture of such specialist units is just one of the things we excel at

Hi All,

It's only one small step I know, but when we said last March that we wanted to start building Airport Ground Handling Equipment we did so with the belief that here in New Zealand we could come up with products at least as good, if not better, than those available anywhere else in the world.

We've done that with our Baggage Trolleys, the First Export Order we have just completed, which are destined for Tonga ( and a Big Thanks to Darin Cusack of Tonga Airports Limited, without whom this wouldn't have happened ).

We set a baseline price which we knew represented excellent value and have then designed and engineered a quality product to be proud of, using Kiwi brains and skills.
While we're celebrating this little achievement, we thought we might send out a photo or two of our little beauties.

Thanks to all of you who have encouraged us over this project. Knowing that others in this fantastic industry also believe that Kiwi's can do ANYTHING is awesome!
