Draft Advisory Circular - AC91-16 - Normally Aspirated Piston Engine TBO Escalation
Response from CAA RE: AC 91-16 Submission view
Summary of Public Submissions Received on AC91-16 view Important information please read During the AIA Council meeting held on Wednesday 5th May, the engineering division warned that the below referenced AC91-16 will have a dramatic effect on operators running engines on escalation programs both turbine and piston. They are suggesting that operators have a careful look at this AC and discuss the implications with their respective maintenance provider. Note submissions close very soon on the 21st May. AIA is considering writing to the CAA to have the AC put on hold. If you have an issue with it, it would be wise to put pen to paper as soon as possible. Note that this is an operators AC, so it is unlikely your engineers will be making any further submissions. View AC here Comments close 21 May 2010 |
