Matthew Alexander Muir
Matthew's practice encompasses a wide range of commercial litigation including insurance, company and shareholder disputes, franchise disputes, contract, tort and vendor/purchaser claims. He has extensive experience also in administrative law claims. Matthew has appeared in almost all New Zealand Courts and Tribunals including the High Court, Court of Appeal, Privy Council, Copyright Tribunal and Land Valuation Tribunal and have represented parties in over 40 significant mediations and arbitrations. As a holder of a private pilot’s licence for 15 years Matthew has an active interest in the aviation community and had conducted the defence of numerous prosecutions under the Civil Aviation Act and Rules.
