Education and Research
Aviation-related research is continuing to develop within New Zealand universities, other tertiary institutions and within the industry itself. The Education and Research division of the AIA aims to encourage such research and development and to support individuals engaged in these activities. This includes a broad range of aviation-related topics, including, but not limited to, the commercial performance of airport companies, environmental issues facing aviation in the immediate future and selection criteria for future aircrew.
Recent developments:
Currently, the Education and Research divisional members are, primarily, also representatives of the flight training industry. The division would like to see more academics and those involved with tertiary education joining the division in order to enhance its activities. ChairCapt. Ashok Poduval view bioT: 06 356 9099 x5325
